MethoCult\u2122 H4034 Optimum has been formulated to support optimal growth of erythroid progenitor cells (BFU-E and CFU-E), granulocyte-macrophage progenitor cells (CFU-GM, CFU-G and CFU-M), and multipotential granulocyte, erythroid, macrophage, megakaryocyte progenitor cells (CFU-GEMM). The inclusion of G-CSF in Optimum formulations improves discrimination of myeloid colony subtypes.
