Operational needs of high-throughput diagnostic laboratories<\/h2>\n

During the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, a customer of Blue-Ray Biotech planned to implement automation solutions for diagnostic laboratories. These included workflows such as viral RNA isolation\/extraction and the preparation of COVID-19 diagnostic assays based on Real-Time PCR. The customer requested support from Blue-Ray Biotech to design an optimized method for qPCR assay setup. The following are the solutions proposed by Blue-Ray Biotech.<\/p>\n

Recommendations to accelerate qPCR reaction setup for diagnostics<\/h2>\n

Automated master mix preparation using the EzMate 601s<\/h3>\n

If users choose to prepare the Master Mix automatically (19 \u00b5L Super Mix + 1 \u00b5L Enzyme Mix), the EzMate 601s<\/a> Automated Pipetting System can process up to 50 reactions per run (equivalent to 2 plates of a Real-Time PCR kit).<\/p>\n

Manual master mix preparation<\/h3>\n

If users prefer to prepare the Master Mix solution manually (19 \u00b5L Super Mix + 1 \u00b5L Enzyme Mix), the EzMate 601s<\/a> system can process up to 75 reactions per run (equivalent to 3 sample plates of a Real-Time RT-PCR kit).<\/p>\n

Additional applications<\/h3>\n
