MethoCult™ is the gold-standard methylcellulose-based medium for Colony-Forming Unit (CFU) assays—a functional method used to identify and quantify hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs) derived from bone marrow, cord blood, and peripheral blood samples.
Developed by STEMCELL Technologies (Canada) and officially distributed in Vietnam by Biogroup Vietnam, MethoCult™ enables the culture, identification, and classification of various CFU lineages (CFU-E, BFU-E, CFU-GM, CFU-GEMM) with high accuracy and reproducibility.
The product is ideal for stem cell quality control (QC), hematopoiesis research, CD34⁺ cell enrichment evaluation, and drug or toxicity screening on hematopoietic cells.
Available in multiple formats (100 mL and 24 × 3 mL), MethoCult™ is recognized worldwide as the benchmark medium for hematopoietic stem cell research.
