The SuHV-1 dtec qPCR Test comprises a series of specific targeted reagents designed for the detection of Suid herpesvirus 1 that causes Aujeszky’s disease in swine.

The virus’s also called Aujeszky’s disease virus or Pseudorabies virus. This virus tends to cause central nervous system disorders in piglets, respiratory diseases in adult pigs and loss of fertility in sows.

2. They are lyophilized, easy to transport and store.

3. The kit is stable at room temperature (25-30oC) for transportation. The kits should be stored at -20°C ± 2oC upon arrival.

4. After dissolved, the kits should be divided into small tubes to avoid repeated thawing.

5. GPSTM-mix, a new high-performance polymerase mastermix, has benefits:

• Increased sensitivity and efficiency of qPCR reactions.

• Minimized thermal protocol (Fast-Cycling) allowing a full qPCR run in less tan 45 minutes.

• High resistance to PCR inhibitors.

• Compatible with all the open qPCR thermal cyclers on the market.

1) F100 Format (100 reactions):

• TargetSpecies dtec-qPCR-mix (a lyophilized mixture)
• Resuspension buffer (130 ul)
• Dnase/Rnase free water (1.5 ml)
• GPSTM-mix 4X (500 ul)
• Standard template (dehydrated target copies for positive control)
• Template buffer (150 ul)
• Optional: Internal Control qPCR-mix.

2) Monodose Format (24 or 96 reactions):

• TargetSpecies MONODOSE dtec-qPCR (a lyophilized mixture)
• Dnase/Rnase free water (1.5 ml)
• Standard template (dehydrated target copies for positive control)
• Template buffer (150 ul)
• Option: Internal Control qPCR-mix.
